In Q3 1873 when Elizabeth Ann was 29, she married Caleb FRIENDSHIP in Bideford Reg Dist, Devon, England. Born ca 1842 in Frithelstock, Torrington Reg Dist, Devon, England. Caleb died ca 1924; he was 82.

- On 1851 census aged 5 and a scholar living at Littleham Court, Littleham. On 1881 census aged 35 and a grocer living at 5 Honestone Lane with Catherine 35, Rosa E. 8, Elizabeth W. 7, Beatrice K. 5, Ada M. 3, Annie M. 1. On 1891 census shows Charles aged 45, grocer, secretary, collector living at 5 Honestone Street, Bideford with wife Catherine aged 45, born Welcombe, Devon and daughter Rosa Ellen aged 18 drapers assistant, daughter Elizabeth W aged 17, grocers assistant, daughter Beatrice K aged 15, teacher (employee), daughter Ada M aged 13, scholar, son Sidney C aged 5, scholar and daughter Florence M aged 1. Also living in the house was Bessie Howard a niece aged 24 and a teacher of music (notem). Charles was possibly born in Northam, Bideford as this appears on the 1851 and 1861 censuses. In Kelly's Directory of Devon 1902 Charles is listed under "Officers of the Corporation" as Collector of Local Rates, living at 5, Honestone Street. He also appears under "Insurance Agents" and also appears in the Trades Directory under "Phoenix Fire".
