- Greenwich is on the south bank of the Thames in the NE corner of Kent close to the border of Surrey on the west - http://www.nwkfhs.org.uk/grnw_plc.htm … from wikipedia: Greenwich formed part of Kent until 1889 when the County of London was created. Confirmed by http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/ken.html - Transferred to the county of London [from Kent]on 1.4.1889.

- Similarly, Pancras Registration District was part of Middlesex from 1837-1889 when it became part of London until 1901. Became St Pancras RD, London in 1902 to 1965, and assigned to Greater London (1965-77). Incorporated into Camden RD in 1965 or 1977. Records now held in Camden. - http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/pancras.html and http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/st%20pancras.html.

RESEARCH NOTES
- From another researcher: Baptised privately bt Rev Dacons 3 days old, Christened 26/12/1836 at St James' Colchester. born just before midnight. May have been second wife of William Henry Wood

- A different researcher says she married William Henry Wood on 26 Sep 1880 in Deptford Kent, at the age of 43. She describes herself as a widow but uses her maiden name [Did she have a son Arthur Coates out of wedlock or was Arthur someone else’s son in 1871 census?] This makes we wonder if this is the right Sara Ann - facts are said to be from the marriage certificate + IGI record *.. Will need to see the actual marriage details to confirm which one if not both of them were widowed prior to this marriage. See http://www.old.ourfamilyhistory.org.uk/indiI685.html
