Winona Logan “Nonie” died in Cairnsmore Place, Duncan, BC, Canada, on 26 Dec 1999; she was 97. Buried on 13 Jan 2000 in St. Peters Anglican Church, Duncan, BC, Canada. She attended Westholm school, a long walk each day for the children. She married Bud Blackhall Feb 14, 1929. Her daughter Geraldine was born in Kings Daughters Hospital [Duncan, BC] in December 1929. The family moved to Vancouver, where son Roger was born. Vancouver remained home until 1946, when they moved to North Vancouver. The marriage ended soon after and she later married a second cousin, Bill Campbell. They moved with him to Doreen and later to Usk, near Terrace [BC]. There they ran the store and post office for 10 years before returning to the Cowichan Valley [Duncan BC area], settling in Maple Bay in 1964. Winona lived on Springett Road for 30 years and was much-loved by her neighbours. She died at Cairnsmore Place [Duncan BC] Dec 26 [1999] at the age of 97.
