- Anne’s will from 1888 shows her to be living in Chitterne St Mary. It is a simple will giving Charles the share and interest of and in the freehold and its premises occupied at the time by a Mr. Hall of Westbury. The same property of earlier now entirely theirs. Jane got one hundred pounds, the residue being divided between her and George.
In 1835 when Ann was 28, she married James COMPTON (116) , son of Charles COMPTON (87) (ca1755-1808) & Elizabeth TITT (1768-~1821). Born in 1801. James died in 1850; he was 49.
