RESEARCH NOTES:
- originally guessed Ella Neil’s date of birth to be 1895, around the time of Harry and Annie’s marriage. If Ella Richardson in the 1911 census is this same Ella, then she was born 9 years earlier out of wedlock and took on her mother’s maiden name. However, in 1901 census, Demaris is listed as a niece to head of household [Henry]. Either this is a fabrication due to the illegitemacy, or she was the daughter of one of Annie’s sister or brother? Probably base born daughter of Annie, although can’t find baptism record.
- she likely married her 1st cousin Sydney Lewis
