From other researchers:
- Thomas Provence was born Sep 11 1891 and raised by his aunt Rebecca Henson Orrick because Lavina his mother had severe seizures and could not take care of him. His brothers [James Frank and Joseph Benjamin] were both raised by Mary Henson Miller for the same reason. Lavina always lived near by.
- [Regarding] who raised my grandfather [Tom Provence] and his brothers due to Lavina not being able to do so. Correct info i found and my uncle [Ora Provence] verified it.
My grandfather Tom provence was raised by Vina's sister and husband Rebecca and John Wesley Orrick. Orrick and Joe Provence bro to Tom was as well. Their brother Frank who was oldest was raised by Mary Henson Miller and husband Frank.
- Frank never married and lived in what is called Millers Chapel community. Several Henson families lived in the same area and Frank and Mary Miller lived there too. It was not far from the old Provence place..(James Hiriam Provence) Frank worked for the people in the community and they paid him a little and Uncle Ora said he was always helping people. He never had a car and walked everywhere. Landon Henson Who I met a few years ago told me he lived not far from Frank and used to visit him a lot as a young boy because he had a good time. He mentioned that he was always walking places. Uncle Ora said he would walk to where he lived which was quite a walk but he would take him back home by vehicle.
Frank was in the military as well.
He had a leg that started really bothering him when he was older due to an injury when young and had to have his leg amputated. He lived with Reba and family for awhile and they cared for him.  He died however in the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville AR. Uncle Ora said he sat with him at the hospital the night before he died.. He was 81according to Uncle Ora. [born in 1887
The above info I refreshed just now and also learned some new things  today as well from my wonderful uncle Ora Provence.
